HII to Invest $28 Million in New Advanced Manufacturing Facility in Hampton

In a video message played during the City of Hampton’s State of the City address, Xavier Beale, Vice President of Human Resources for Newport News Shipbuilding, said the $28M investment strengthens the company’s long-standing relationship with Hampton. He explained that the renovated site will house “some of the most technologically advanced manufacturing machines known to mankind,” with the ability to print a wide range of metal alloys, from pounds to tons.
