But Hampton Roads has been building for a long time, largely outside the spotlight.

Presented by Innovate Hampton Roads, the State of Innovation Address is designed to bring that work into focus. Not through hype or predictions, but through a clear look at what is already happening and how it connects.

The event takes place April 1, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at The Mariners’ Museum. Lunch is included. Tickets are $45.

The program will also include the first release of the IHR 200, a new curated list recognizing 200 private companies shaping the future of the region.
